I have cameras. Plural. Obviously there’s no need for another, and yet: this La Sardina Beach Edition camera is tempting. It’s colorful, old-fashioned, and it takes film. (Film!) Basically, it’s one of those beautifully designed gadgets that makes me think I’d have a magically cinematic Italian vacation if only it were to accompany me to the Boot. In reality, there is no such vacation planned, and my photography skills are such that digital, not film, leads to the best results. Chalk this one up as a want rather than a need, but with that said… if you’re camera-less and looking for a cute little kickaround film shooter, you’d be hard-pressed to find one with this much style. $109 at Lomography.
